Graeme Swanson Art: News and Events
Graeme is currently creating new art in his 6th floor studio at Riverside House, Edinburgh.
“I have experienced a variety of Wasps art studios in Aberdeen and Edinburgh, and have always enjoyed the spaces, the company of other artists and the positive creative environment. Most recently I spent 10 years at Albion Road in Leith, Edinburgh. The urban exterior was enclosed by residential apartment blocks and the rear of a football stadium. Now with such an extensive vista North to West from my 6th floor Riverside House studio (on a clear day I can see mountains in Perthshire) I can view the mood changes and the weather effects, and this scenic and environmental change has been pivotal for my new creative output.”
This move to a new artistic space with its dynamic inspiration and creativity has led to a new solo show which can currently be viewed at Patriothall Gallery at WASPS Studios in Stockbridge, Edinburgh. The exhibition opens on the 17th of May 2025 and is on until the 11th of June 2025.
